Lewis Larkam is the F1 Digital Editor at Crash.net, responsible for leading their coverage of the F1 world championship since February 2020. He was promoted to Crash.net's lead F1 writer after just two years of working for the company, having originally joined in February 2018. In his time there, Lewis has produced thousands of news articles, features, and reports while conducting interviews with F1 drivers and attending regular grands prix events. His passion for F1 began in 2007 when he became hooked watching the sport during Lewis Hamilton's rise to fame. He pursued a career in journalism, earning a first-class BA honours degree in Sports Journalism at the University of Huddersfield in 2016. Before that, he gained multiple motorsport-based work experience opportunities and started working as an F1 journalist with ESPN as a freelancer. He covered the 2016 and 2017 seasons before joining Crash.net full-time in 2018, where he made his debut as an accredited FIA journalist at the Spanish Grand Prix.
