Peter Larsen

Peter Larsen is a seasoned journalist with a diverse background. He has been the Pop Culture Reporter for the Orange County Register since 2004, where he covers a wide range of topics including the Oscars, Emmys, Comic-Con, Coachella, pop music reviews and interviews with authors, actors, musicians and directors. Peter holds degrees in English and Communications from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon and a master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. He began his career at the Belleville (Ill.) News-Democrat before joining the Los Angeles Daily News and eventually settling at the Orange County Register. In addition to his work as a reporter, Peter has been teaching journalism and mass communications courses at California State University, Long Beach since 2006. He is married with two daughters and a dog named Buddy.
