Joi Dukes

Joi Dukes is a news reporter who joined FOX 5 in Atlanta in April 2022. She returned to her hometown eager to tell the stories of people in the city where she grew up. Joi has worked at WRCB in Chattanooga, Tennessee and at 41NBC in Macon, where she covered significant events such as the Georgia General Assembly and Georgia's 2018 gubernatorial race. She also broke the story of Fort Valley State University's sorority sexual misconduct investigation. Joi's journalism career is marked by her compassionate approach to coverage and her strong ties to the Atlanta area through her father, former Atlanta Falcons player and sports broadcaster Jamie Dukes. In addition to her professional pursuits, Joi is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and enjoys spending time in the gym or watching documentaries when not reporting on breaking news.
