Mike Hellgren
Mike Hellgren is an experienced investigative journalist who has worked at various NBC and ABC affiliate stations across the United States. He began his career in broadcast journalism with a cable news program called First Edition News in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Mike holds a B.S. degree in journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and has a reputation for breaking important news stories throughout his career. Currently, he works at WJZ as an investigative reporter, where he joined in the spring of 2004 from KARK-TV in Little Rock, Arkansas. His previous roles include general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor at KTAL-TV in Shreveport, Louisiana and KLAX-TV in Alexandria, Louisiana. Mike grew up partly in both Chicago and Louisiana.
