Broke On: Monday, 13 May 2024 A section of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which collapsed onto the Dali cargo ship in March, will be demolished using explosives on Monday due to adverse weather conditions. Six construction workers died in the incident and investigations are ongoing to determine the cause. Once complete, surveys will be taken and the Dali ship is expected to be refloated two days later at high tide. The new bridge is scheduled for completion by 2028.
