Heather Williams

Heather Williams is a sports executive producer and anchor with extensive experience in the field. She currently works at News 5 WCYB as the executive producer of sports and special projects. Heather joined News 5 WCYB in August 2015 from another station in Wichita, Kansas, where she had been working for five years. Prior to that, she has worked for stations in Chattanooga, Nashville, Greenville, and Springfield. Heather is originally from Kansas City and is excited to be back in East Tennessee and covering racing – a topic she has been passionate about for over ten years. She has received numerous accolades for her motorsports journalism, including the Catlin Motorsports Journalism Award and an Emmy nomination. In addition to her love for racing, Heather is also a big fan of football and baseball.
