Zane Satre

Zane Satre is a meteorologist specializing in weekend evening forecasts. Joining KCCI Storm Team 8 in June 2022, Zane has made a name for himself through his accurate and engaging weather reports. Born and raised in Iowa, Zane's interest in meteorology was sparked by severe weather events and the influence of his mother, a science teacher. He pursued a B.S. in Meteorology at Iowa State University, completed internships in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids, and earned the American Meteorological Society's Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) designation in 2020.
