Julia Bingel is an experienced television news professional who has been working in the industry since 1993. She began her career at WXIX in Cincinnati, Ohio as a writer and production assistant before moving on to show producing and working the assignment desk. In 2005, she returned to Cleveland as the Assignment Manager for WOIO and is currently serving as the dayside Assignment Manager and Digital Content Producer. Julia has also attended leadership training at the Poynter Institute for Media Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida. She holds a degree in broadcast journalism from The Ohio State University with a minor in French and is a proud graduate of Magnificat High School in Rocky River.
