Jake studied theatre and stage/screenwriting between UNK and UNO before transitioning to journalism, earning a bachelor's and master of fine arts degrees. His passion for storytelling and the Midwest led him to Nebraska journalism. He has worked in various newsrooms across the state, taking on roles in direction, production, and writing.
