Lucy Clarke-Billings

Lucy Clarke is a bestselling thriller author who finds inspiration for her novels along the coastline. She has had eight novels published, two of which have been adapted into big-budget TV series. Lucy began her writing journey after travelling for six months and deciding against returning to her previous career in advertising. Her books, known as ‘destination thriller’ novels, are all set in coastal locations and are often written at local beaches. In recent years, two of her novels have been turned into TV drama series on Paramount+, starring Sheridan Smith. Lucy describes Smith as a ‘phenomenal actress’ and was pleased to see her bring Clarke’s written words to life. With a ninth book in the works and more options for TV adaptations, Lucy Clarke continues to find success in her writing career.
