Chan School of Public Health reveals that replacing sedentary TV time with physical activity, whether light or moderately vigorous, can enhance the odds of healthy aging by up to 28%. The study analyzed data from over 45,000 participants and found that each additional two hours spent watching TV decreases healthy aging chances by 12%. Replacing one hour of TV with light activity increases odds by 8%, while moderately vigorous activity boosts it by 28%. Adequate sleep (7 hours) also plays a role in healthy aging.
