He joined the news team in 2022 as a Multimedia Journalist after graduating from Ball State University with a dual degree in Journalism and Telecommunications and a minor in Creative Writing. Prior to this role, he interned with The Indiana Citizen and was involved with Ball State Daily News and NewsLink Indiana as a reporter, director, producer, and anchor. Mitchell is passionate about serving the Tri-State area and staying active in his community. He enjoys reconnecting with his hometown while working as a journalist. His work primarily focuses on local news, crime reporting, and political coverage.
