Josh Sanchez is a West Michigan native, hailing from Holland, Michigan. He graduated from Western Michigan University (Go Broncos!) and has a passion for film, journalism, and history. Before joining WLNS in the summer of 2021, Josh lived in Charles Town, West Virginia where he followed independent reporting around the Washington DC area during the 2020 Election. Throughout his career, Josh has worked on a wide range of stories from local and state politics to cultural events. His work at WLNS was recognized by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, which awarded the station Best Breaking News of 2022. When not in the studio, Josh enjoys staying active, gaming online with friends, and working on photography. He also has a penchant for seeking out unique ice cream flavors regardless of the weather.
