Shaun Boyd

Shaun Boyd is a highly experienced television news reporter with over two decades of work in Colorado. She joined CBS News Colorado in 1998 and has held various roles including general assignment reporter, bureau chief, and political specialist. Throughout her career, she has interviewed notable figures from different fields and gained the trust of law enforcement and government sources. Shaun's reporting has been recognized by several organizations such as the American Legion of Colorado and Mothers Against Drunk Driving Colorado. She is a native of Michigan, graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame, and has worked in other TV stations in Indiana, Iowa, and Michigan. As a political reporter, she has covered six national political conventions and fact-checked political ads in her Reality Check segments. Shaun has been reporting from the State Capitol since 2011 covering various issues such as civil unions for gay couples, marijuana regulation, gun control, and the repeal of the death penalty. She is married to former CBS Colorado reporter Raj Chohan and has twins.
