Two Former Uvalde School Police Officers Indicted for Botched Response to 2022 Robb Elementary School Shooting

Broke On: Thursday, 27 June 2024 Two former Uvalde school officers, Pete Arredondo and Adrian Gonzales, have been indicted for their roles in the botched response to the 2022 Robb Elementary School shooting, marking the first criminal charges filed in connection with the tragedy that left 19 children and two teachers dead. Arredondo is accused of endangering ten children by not enforcing UCISD's active shooter response plan, while Gonzales was also indicted for unknown reasons. Families of the victims expect more names to be brought to light and want further indictments, questioning why only two individuals have been charged.
