Andy Cole is an experienced journalist who currently serves as the weekend anchor and investigative reporter for WJCL News. He joined the team in 2022 while still a student at Georgia Southern University, where he graduated with a degree in multimedia journalism in May 2023. Andy's background includes work for The George-Anne at Georgia Southern, Fox News, and Gwinnett County Public Schools' GCPS TV. He also founded and executive produced Your Newsroom, a social media video news outlet at GS. Andy has been recognized with numerous awards for his work, including a Bronze Telly, Southeast Emmy nomination, two student Emmys wins, and a national student Emmy nomination. Born in metro Atlanta, Andy has had a passion for journalism since elementary school and is excited to be working at WJCL to bring important stories to Southeast Georgia and the Lowcountry. Their cause of death is unknown as investigations by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Cocke County Sheriff's Office continue. Anderson was arrested for keying Kuhbander's car and disorderly conduct two days prior to their deaths, which may be related to their recent breakup. Both were employed by Liberty County Fire Services.
