Rowan Kavner

Rowan Kavner is a FOX Sports MLB writer covering the Dodgers and the NL West since July 2022. You can find him making FOX Sports digital video and podcast appearances and on Twitter at @RowanKavner. A proud LSU alumnus with a bachelor's degree in mass communication, Rowan credits his time as a sports writer and editor at The Daily Reveille for preparing him for a career in the NFL, NBA, and MLB. He was an MLB.com associate reporter in Chicago before joining the Dallas Cowboys as a staff writer in 2012. Rowan moved to Los Angeles in October 2014 to cover the Clippers for Clippers.com, then became the Dodgers' editor of digital and print publications in 2017. Rowan was born in Los Angeles, grew up outside of Dallas, went to college in Louisiana and is thrilled to be back near the beach in L.A. When he's not at a stadium or watching sports, he enjoys playing with his dog, hiking, running, golfing, seeing his friends, watching movies and TV (shoutout Succession, Severance and Barry) and reminiscing about Dirk's fadeaway and the Mavs' 2011 championship run.
