Tucker Barnes

Tucker Barnes is the Emmy award-winning chief meteorologist on FOX 5 Morning and Good Day DC. Raised in the Washington area, his passion for weather began at a young age. Tucker graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and completed his graduate work at the University of Maryland, College Park. He is a member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS). Throughout his career, Tucker has covered significant weather events such as Hurricane Irene, Snowmageddon, and the Derecho of 2012. In his spare time, he enjoys nature, gardening, animals, football and making fun of Steeler fans (unless they are Steelers fans - then he likes making fun of Cowboy fans).
