Jamy Pombo

Jamy Pombo Sesselman is a news reporter who has been with WCVB.com/TheBostonChannel.com since 2000. Throughout her tenure, she has covered major events in the region such as the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, the death of Sen. Edward Kennedy, and the Boston Marathon bombing. Her work has contributed to multiple awards for the site, including prestigious Edward R. Murrow awards and Headliner's Awards. Prior to joining WCVB, Sesselman worked as a sales and real estate agent in the Boston area and for U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts. A native of New Jersey, Sesselman attended Boston University's College of Communication where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis on broadcast journalism. She was also honored with the National Honor Society Golden Key. Sesselman lives in the Boston area with her husband, son, and daughter.
