Tanya Sharma
Tanya Kach, also known as Tanya Nicole Kach, is an American woman who experienced a harrowing ordeal of being held captive and sexually abused by Thomas Hose, a security guard at her high school. She was kidnapped at the age of 14 in 1996 and found 10 years later. During her captivity, she was kept isolated in a bedroom, subjected to physical and mental control. After gaining limited freedom and confiding in a store worker, she was rescued by the police. Since her rescue, Tanya has struggled to reform family bonds and is now studying to become a real estate agent while penning her autobiography titled 'The Tanya Nicole Kach story: Memoir of a Milk Carton Kid'. She also addresses the estranged relationship with her father in the book and on the 'Dr. Phil' chat show.
