Chris Gothner is a digital journalist who joined the Local 10 News team in 2022. Born and raised in Sarasota County, he holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri. Prior to joining Local 10, Chris worked as an on-air reporter and anchor at KCCI, the CBS affiliate in Des Moines, Iowa where he covered breaking news and politics. He also worked as a reporter and anchor at WISC-TV in Madison, Wisconsin and KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri where he served as a digital and newscast producer. Chris lives in Miami and is excited to explore the East Coast of Florida. His work can be found on the Local 10 website.
