Mike Caplan

Mike Caplan is a meteorologist known for his work on FOX 32's Good Day Chicago. He has been with the station since December 2015. Prior to this, he worked as a meteorologist and reporter for various news stations, including WCIA in Champaign-Urbana, IL, WTVD in Raleigh-Durham, NC, and WLS-TV in Chicago. Caplan earned his meteorologist credentials from Mississippi State University. In addition to his career in journalism, he is an accomplished photographer and adjunct instructor at the College of Lake County. He owns a photographic and web design business with his wife in the northern suburbs.
