David Yeomans is a meteorologist and severe weather and climate change expert. He is a member of CBS News Chicago's First Alert weather team. Prior to joining CBS 2, he served as Chief Meteorologist at KXAN-TV in Austin, Texas since 2021, where he extensively reported on climate change and its impact on the water supply in Texas. His work earned an Emmy Award in 2023.
