Arielle Mitropoulos

Arielle Mitropoulos is a reporter who joined WMUR-TV in October 2022. Prior to that, she worked as a reporter-producer at ABC News in New York, NY and interned at WCVB-TV in Boston. She has covered major stories such as the COVID-19 crisis, the 2020 Presidential primaries and general election, the trial of former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin, and the Surfside building collapse. Arielle also contributed to an investigation for Diane Sawyer's 20/20 Special, 'Escape From a House of Horror', which exposed failures in officials' care for the 13 Turpin siblings. A native of Cambridge, Massachusetts, she graduated from Wellesley College in 2019 with a degree in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies. Arielle was an NCAA student-athlete on Wellesley's Varsity Field Hockey team and has completed five Boston Marathons. She enjoys swimming, cheering on the Boston sports teams, and spending time with her friends and family.
