Destiny Wiggins

Destiny Wiggins is a multimedia journalist who has made her hometown of Orlando proud with her work. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism and began her career in Bemidji, Minnesota as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor for Lakeland News, a PBS affiliate. During this time, she covered stories deeply impacting Native American and Indian communities. After nearly two years in Bemidji, Destiny took on a role at FOX28 in Savannah, Georgia where she tackled several national stories including the state and federal trial of the three men convicted of Ahmaud Arbery's murder, the Leilani Simon case, and extensive coverage of the Senate race between Herschel Walker and Senator Raphael Warnock. Destiny prides herself on cultivating strong and personable relationships within the communities she serves. She is a judge for a local Miss America Pageant, participates in Georgia's Pre-K week, volunteers at various community events, and has four years of valuable experience. When not working, Destiny loves to cook and grocery shop (finding it therapeutic), journal, mentor young girls, binge-watch HGTV and Food Network shows or spend quality time with her family.
