Despite challenges in China and South Korea's LG H&H and Amorepacific, the majority of companies saw sales increase year-over-year. Of just 21 players registering sales declines, they were less severe than a year ago with none falling by more than 20%. Total sales for all 100 companies increased by 5.3% to $245.17 billion, a record number that is also above the pre-pandemic sales of $227.6 billion.
