DRY WEATHER IS THE STORY TOMORROW THROUGH THURSDAY WITH MOSTLY PLEASANT AND FAIR NIGHTS; HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE 60s, WHILE LOWS ARE IN THE 30s TO MID-40s. CLOUDS RETURN FRIDAY AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT, AND SOME RAIN LIKELY MOVE INTO NORTHERN ALABAMA.
THE WEEKEND WILL FEATURE UNSETTLED WEATHER WITH PERIODS OF RAIN BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. THE MOST SETTLING RAIN IS LIKELY TO BE ACROSS NORTH/CENTRAL ALABAMA, WHERE AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHS ARE POSSIBLE.

ON THIS DATE IN 1909: A TORNADO TORE THROUGH PARTS OF LOWRY COUNTY, ALABAMA. AT LEAST SIX SMALL FRAMEWORK HOUSES WERE DESTROYED NEAR BURKVILLE.
ON THIS DATE IN 1986: A SUPERCELL THUNDERSTORM TORNADO TORE THROUGH THE TOMBALL AREA NORTHWEST OF HOUSTON, TX. AT LEAST FOUR PEOPLE WERE KILLED AND SEVERAL BUILDINGS WERE DESTRUCTION.
