The Orlando Magic secured their first home playoff win in almost 13 years with a resounding 121-83 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series. The Magic, who had lost both previous games against the Cavaliers by double digits, were confident before the game and managed to outrebound Cleveland by a significant margin, with a total of 51 rebounds compared to Cleveland's 32. Paolo Banchero was the standout performer for the Magic, finishing the game with 31 points and 14 rebounds. He became the youngest player since LeBron James in 2006 to log a 30-point, 10-rebound game in the playoffs. Banchero attempted a career-high 12 shots in the first quarter alone, setting the tone for the Magic's offensive onslaught. Jalen Suggs also contributed significantly to the Magic's win, finishing with 24 points on an efficient 9-of-11 shooting. Franz Wagner added 16 points and eight assists, while Wendell Carter Jr.'s return to the starting lineup limited Cleveland's Jarrett Allen to just eight rebounds. The Magic made 34 of their next 52 field-goal attempts and finished the game at 51.1% (47 for 92). Banchero, Suggs, and Wagner combined for 71 points in the game, leading the Magic to their first playoff victory since 2019. The Cavaliers, who shot just 39% from the field and 23.5% from beyond the arc, will look to bounce back in Game 4 on Saturday at 1 p.m.
