Daren Stoltzfus

Daren Stoltzfus is a sports journalist who joined WESH 2 News as Sports Director in August of 2019. Prior to this, he worked as a sports anchor and reporter for WCIV in Charleston, South Carolina and as the Sports Director at WHSV in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Originally from Johnson City, Tennessee, Daren has won several awards for his work including being named TV Sportscaster of the Year by the South Carolina Broadcasters Association in 2016 and three times earning that honor from the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas. While in South Carolina, he covered various sports teams and events such as football national championships, NCAA men's basketball tournament (including the Final Four), and a women's basketball NCAA national championship. Daren loves working in sports and sharing the stories of those involved in them. He considers Central Florida his home along with his wife Ashley, their two dogs Steve and Barb, and Gus the cat.
