Anjali Huynh is a political reporter for The New York Times, covering 2024 campaigns and breaking news. She is a member of the 2023-24 Times Fellowship class, a program for journalists early in their careers. Her focus is on analyzing how underrepresented groups engage with the political system. Before joining The Times, she reported on Georgia's U.S. Senate race and its governor's contest for The Atlanta-Journal Constitution, as well as covering local politics at The Boston Globe and CNN. Anjali grew up in Iowa City, Iowa, and graduated from Emory University with a degree in political science and sociology.
