Aaron Schatz is an ESPN writer and analyst who covers the NFL. He is also the Chief Analytics Officer at FTN Network and the creator of the DVOA metric. He has been producing NFL analytics for more than 20 years and was one of the first to use statistics to evaluate player performance. Schatz graduated from Harvard University with a degree in economics and started his career as an analyst for Pro Football Weekly before joining ESPN in 2015.
