Justin Kroll is a veteran journalist who has joined Deadline as a senior film reporter after spending over a decade at Variety. He will cover all aspects of the film industry for Deadline and report to Mike Fleming, co-editor-in-chief. Kroll started out as an intern at Variety in 2008 and was upped to editorial assistant in 2009. He has been a key member of the film reporting staff since 2010. Before Variety, Kroll worked as a freelancer for Reuters in Los Angeles and is a graduate of Michigan State University.
