Two DA Recalls in 2024: Community Safety Concerns Over Price in Alameda County and Garza in Travis

Broke On: Wednesday, 15 May 2024 Two District Attorneys, Pamela Price in Alameda County, California, and Jose Garza in Travis County, Texas, face recall elections in November 2024 due to concerns over their progressive policies. Critics argue these policies jeopardize community safety. In Alameda County, Price's reform-minded platform led to an increase in crime since her election; opponents gathered enough signatures for a recall but face opposition regarding the timing of the election.
