Eric Heyl

Eric Heyl is a seasoned reporter with over three decades of experience as a reporter, editor and columnist. From 1999 to 2016, he was the lead metro columnist for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review where his work won numerous national, state and local awards. He has also served as the president of the National Society of Newspaper Columnists and is currently serving as the president of the National Society of Newspaper Columnists Education Foundation which provides scholarships to collegiate newspaper columnists. Heyl lives in Pittsburgh with his wife and two daughters.
