Broke On: Sunday, 30 June 2024 In Crete, Nebraska on June 29, 2024, a shooting incident left seven people injured and one suspect, Billy Booth, dead. The shooting occurred at a residence on Crestline Drive where about fifteen people were present. Preliminary investigations suggest that Booth opened fire from inside his house and made derogatory comments towards some victims before the incident. Three adults and four children were injured, six of whom were transported to hospitals for treatment. Booth was found dead inside his house with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The shooting remains under investigation with potential racial motivation.
