Steven Yablonski is a weather journalist who joined FOX Weather in September 2021 as a digital content producer. Prior to that, he worked at WFSB in Hartford, Connecticut where he received several Associated Press Awards and a New England Emmy nomination for his coverage of major events such as Superstorm Sandy, the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School and the Boston Marathon bombing. In 2014, Steven moved to Boston to work as a digital content producer at WCVB. He then joined WFXT (Boston 25 News) in 2017 as a digital content producer and social media manager, where he received a regional and national Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence in Social Media for his work in alerting the public to mass evacuations during gas explosions that rocked the north shore of Massachusetts.
