Broke On: Wednesday, 03 January 2024On January 3, 2024, a man named Delone Redden attacked District Court Judge Mary Kay Holthus during sentencing in Las Vegas. The attack occurred after the judge denied Redden's request for probation and prepared to sentence him to jail time. Video footage shows that Redden tackled the judge, punched her repeatedly, and yelled expletives while security officers attempted to restrain him.
